Pasir Puteh (19 Sep) - Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd (Altus) has signed a supplier agreement with TB Supply Base Sdn Bhd to supply cargo carrying units (CCU) for the oil and gas industry players in Kelantan.
The five-year agreement, signed by Mohammad Taufik Othman, Managing Director of Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd and Nur Hasmin Kamarollzaman, General Manager of TB Supply Base Sdn Bhd, appoints Altus as the sole provider for CCU at Tok Bali Supply Base (TBSB)
“We are excited about this milestone especially since we just launched Tok Bali branch in February. It reflects our commitment to our clients and their trust in our services. Currently, we are supplying 150 CCU for our existing clients; HESS and Repsol, and for ad-hoc requests,”
“This supplier agreement will increase our capacity in supplying the CCU for other oil and gas players here in Tok Bali. We projected an increase between 300 to 400 CCU by the third year with the utilisation of 80 percent,” said Mohammad Taufik Othman, the Managing Director of Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
“This new milestone will give a positive impact on the community nearby where we expect to have more talent to operate Altus Tok Bali,” he added referring to the company’s aims to create job opportunities as mentioned during the launch in February.
At the event, 50 orphans and underprivileged children from Pondok Darussa’adah Tok Bali were invited to create awareness of the oil and gas industry and a donation to the home was given during the ceremony.
