Kota Kinabalu, 25 June 2026 - With Sabah's energy sector continuing its growth trajectory and attracting increased investment across exploration, development, and production activities, the state is increasingly recognized as one of Malaysia's key energy growth regions.
Against this backdrop, the 13th Sabah Oil, Gas & Energy Conference & Exhibition (SOGCE) 2026 brings together industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to explore opportunities, share insights, and support the sustainable development of Sabah's energy sector.
As part of the Knowledge Hub programme, Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Nor Azam bin Abdul Jalil will present "A Fit-for-Purpose Supply Base Model for Sabah's Next Energy Frontier." The session will explore how practical and scalable supply base solutions can support emerging offshore developments, enhance operational efficiency and strengthen supply chain resilience as Sabah's energy sector continues to evolve.
"Sabah continues to emerge as a key growth area for Malaysia's energy industry, creating new opportunities for collaboration, investment and operational development," said Muhammad Nor Azam bin Abdul Jalil, Chief Operating Officer of Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn Bhd.
"A fit-for-purpose supply base model can help operators improve efficiency, optimise logistics costs and strengthen supply chain resilience while supporting greater local participation," he added.
In conjunction with SOGCE 2026, Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. will present its "Energy Lifecycle. Seamlessly Delivered" showcase at Booth No. 139, featuring selected project experiences across exploration, development, production and abandonment phases. The exhibit demonstrates how the company's integrated logistics, marine, and oilfield services support efficient project execution across the full asset lifecycle.
Through its participation at SOGCE 2026, taking place from 25 to 26 June 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), Kota Kinabalu, Altus Oil & Gas Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. reinforces its commitment to supporting Sabah's growing energy sector through integrated logistics, marine, and oilfield solutions, helping operators navigate opportunities across the full energy lifecycle.
